Popular face Kim Kardashian recently made headlines after fans criticised her daughter North West for looking ‘too old for her age.’ And now, fans are furious after they noticed what appeared to be a dermal finger piercing on the 12-year-old. Kim Kardashian, North West Criticised
According to Healthline, dermal piercings and normal piercings are different as the former doesn’t have a separate entry and exit point for jewellery. As quoted in Page Six, piercing and jewellery company, Lulu Ave, warned that finger piercings may not heal well due to the constant use of the hands, and there’s also a risk of the jewellery getting bumped. The company warned, “A dermal piercing may be a better option, but it can still reject over time.”
One critic took to Reddit and noticed a red bump close to North’s piercing and claimed that it looked infected. Another user commented, “Who the f–k lets their 12-year-old have piercings? And who the f–k pierces a 12-year-old? My kid didn’t even have her ears pierced at 12.” Fans were not happy to see Kim allowing her teenage daughter to take major steps. This happened after Kardashian was already criticised for letting North step out in a fitted corset and mini skirt.
