Fans Call Out BigHit Music For Weak Response To Jimin And Song Da Eun’s Dating Rumours

According to Xports News, BigHit Music responded to the rumours by saying they were looking into the matter. This vague reply frustrated fans, who felt the agency wasn’t doing enough to protect Jimin. Many took to social media to voice their anger and asked BigHit to take stronger action.

One fan expressed disappointment and said that the agency should feel ashamed for not addressing the issue clearly and failing to prioritise their artist’s privacy during the controversy. Meanwhile, an agency tied to Song Da Eun, Merry-Go-Round, issued a statement reported by Star News Korea.

They clarified that Song Da Eun was not signed to an exclusive contract with them. Instead, she was part of their TikTok content team. The agency also mentioned they couldn’t contact Song Da Eun since the morning of their statement.

For the unversed, the recent clip reignited dating rumours that have been around since 2022. In the past, fans pointed to clues like matching jewellery, similar social media posts, and both attending the same soccer game as signs of a possible relationship.

After the video went viral and ignited conversations, some supported Song Da Eun. Others criticised her for sharing the clip and called it an invasion of Jimin’s privacy. As of now, neither Jimin nor Song Da Eun has released any statement.
