One of the most famous K-pop boy bands, SEVENTEEN, recently celebrated their 10th debut anniversary. The group held a three-day event called ‘B-DAY PARTY: BURST Stage’ at Seoul’s iconic Jamsugyo Bridge from 23 to 25 May. This milestone event made history. With this concert, SEVENTEEN also became the first K-pop act to perform on the famous bridge above the Han River.
Both matters were solved without any escalation or argument. The band impressed the audience with their performance. Their fans, also known as CARATs, were equally as considerate as their idols. Their kind deeds on the event’s last day stood out.
On 25 May, the third and last day of the event, SEVENTEEN gave a power-packed one-hour performance. They performed 12 songs for a full audience of 6,000 fans. A great number of fans had to miss out on tickets due to the high demand. Nonetheless, that did not prevent them from joining the celebration. Some CARATs hired yachts and enjoyed the performance from the scenic Han River. The waterfront setting allowed this clever viewing solution. Their move to watch the show quickly went viral.

But it wasn’t just the yacht-watchers who stood out. Inside the venue, another group of CARATs earned praise for helping others exit smoothly from the exit. As the show ended, the narrow layout made it difficult for the crowd to leave. Recognising the problem, a few considerate fans began stacking up chairs. This created more space and improved the flow of people. Their cooperation enabled other CARATs to exit comfortably, without any push or pull.
The act was filmed and shared widely on the internet. It quickly went viral. The internet appreciated the fandom’s thoughtful behaviour. Many expressed pride in belonging to a fandom known for its warm-hearted nature. Proving that CARATs are kind not just to SEVENTEEN but to fellow fans as well.
Others from different K-pop fandoms also acknowledged the gesture. They called CARATs one of the kindest and most respectful fandoms out there. SEVENTEEN’s new fifth studio album ‘Happy Burstday’ is set to be released on 26 May 2025. The trailer for the highly anticipated release is already out!
