People often discuss the privacy of K-pop idols, but only little is done to protect it. The controversy started when a video surfaced online which claimed to show Julie, Kangmin, and Yeonho spending time in a private room. The video went viral and netizens said their close actions looked too friendly. Many reacted with anger and called it wrong for idols to act that way. Others felt bad for the artists and said that it was normal and they were having fun.

As reported by Koreaboo, the video also came from a shady website and only pointed out Julie and not the guys. In one of the pictures, it is also shown that another woman joined them midway, before everyone went out.

However, fans weren’t convinced that it was Julie in the leaked video. They stated that the KISS OF LIFE member’s hair looks different. According to the fans, she cut it short months ago and went red even before that. Whereas, others added that the men are not K-pop idols at all and are normal people who apparently look like Kangmin and Yeonho.

So far, the groups’ companies have not addressed these claims and the private room video controversy. Well, some fans are demanding a statement and better protection of K-pop idols.
