Fans Notice Similarities Between Jennie And TWICE In The Girl Group’s Latest Comeback Teaser
Did TWICE plagiarise Jennie in their new teaser?
On May 19, TWICE officially announced their fourth full-length album titled ‘Four’ to be released in July. The teaser that they revealed for the announcement featured all nine members wearing a blue ensemble of crop tops and miniskirts. An exciting beat played in the background as the members come in the frame one by one.

However, a wave of controversy emerged online. Some netizens accused the group of copying BLACKPINK’s Jennie, particularly referencing the skirts worn in TWICE’s teaser video that they claimed resembled an outfit from Jennie’s ZEN music video.
The backlash quickly circulated on social media, with certain users saying that the styling and even the beat of the teaser were similar to Jennie’s music video. However TWICE’s fans shared photos of the group members wearing similar skirts and concepts as early as 2017. Fans also noted that the alleged similarities had no real connection.
