K-pop idols get hurt on stage quite often, but it is very rare for several idols from different groups to get injured during the same big event. That is exactly what happened at this year’s MAMA Awards. Stars like Stray Kids’ Lee Know and I-DLE’s Minnie suffered injuries and ofcourse fans felt worried. Fans Express Concern After Multiple Idols Injured At MAMA Awards 2025
It all began on the first night when I-DLE performed their latest song, ‘Good Thing’. As always, Minnie delivered a mesmerising performance and nobody knew she was struggling. She had twisted her foot badly while practising earlier that day. The pain was strong, yet she decided to go on stage anyway. After the show ended, several videos of her limping surfaced online. Later, pictures of Minnie in a wheelchair also came out.
On the next day, Stray Kids’ Lee Know’s foot slipped and he twisted his ankle hard. Many fans sitting close to the stage saw it happen live. Still, he kept going. He showed his immense energy with the rest of the members. However, hours later, even he was seen sitting in a wheelchair at the airport. The sight of two idols hurt in just two days felt like too much for fans.

However, both Minnie and Lee Know chose to finish their performances even when they were badly struggling. They smiled and gave their all for their fans but it caused big havoc on the internet. People are asking event organisers to check stages better and give idols more rest time. For them, their favourite artists’ health comes first (as it should). They are also asking the companies to take better care of their idols.
