Privacy and safety for public figures are always a matter of concern. Many K-pop idols often have to deal with stalker fans, also known as saesangs, who constantly try to violate their privacy. BTS Jungkook, who is unarguably one of the most famous K-pop idols in the industry right now, has had his fair share of run-ins with stalkers; however, a recent incident with a saesang fan has made fans extremely worried for the idol’s safety. Read on to know more.
Fans Worried For BTS Jungkook’s Safety After Disturbing Stalker Clips Surface
On November 8, an account on X (formerly Twitter) posted now-deleted clips that disturbed BTS Jungkook’s fans. The account reportedly shared livestream pictures from outside the BTS member’s house. The person behind the account is believed to be a longtime stalker of Jungook who reportedly refers to herself as the idol’s wife. She was allegedly seen ringing the intercom of his building over and over and yelling for him to come out.
Reacting to these disturbing clips, fans are demanding Jungkook’s company BigHit to take immediate action against the saesang. Concerned ARMYs are also organising efforts to report the stalker themselves. Many fanbases are urging the fandom to mass-report and block the account as well.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time BTS Jungkook has been a target of stalker fans. Back in June, just after his discharge from mandatory military enlistment, a woman tried to trespass into Jungkook’s home by trying to access his security keypad. Then, in August, another stalker fan tried to enter his home by claiming that she was his friend.

BTS Jungkook has spoken about these incidents on multiple Weverse lives. Back in September, the singer issued a strict warning to trespassers, threatening to call the police and get them locked up. “You’ll be trapped until I open the door. CCTV is everywhere. Unless you want to end up at the police station, don’t ever come in.” Warned Jungkook.
