AI Edits Of BTS’ Jungkook, TXT Yeonjun Sparks Concern

These types of edits are totally alarming because they cross boundaries and can lead to misunderstandings about the idols’ relationships with their fans. Many fans have spoken out against these edits and have opened up about the importance of respecting the idols’ images and personal lives. One user wrote, “It is s*xual harassment to use AI on idols and create videos. It is sexual harassment to use AI to create scenarios with idols or any other person. To prevent this, we need people to shame individuals who do so incessantly until they stop or until there is legislation to stop it.” These videos should not come at the expense of consent and respect.
