The trailer for Prime Video’s The Family Man shows Srikant Tiwari’s journey as he navigates life after revealing his identity to his family. The trailer opens with a humorous note as Tiwari’s son struggles to grasp the nature of his father’s job. Manoj Bajpayee’s Srikant has also now been declared a criminal, with a warrant being issued against him.
Unknowingly dragging his family into the mess, Srikant finds himself facing a new threat this time in the form of a North-Eastern drug smuggler. Nimrat Kaur plays the daunting villain pulling the strings from behind, and it is particularly delightful to see a woman being the show’s antagonist once again, following Samantha Akkineni’s Raji. Jaipdeep Alawat’s role as the drug smuggler is equal parts menacing and intriguing. Seeing a face-off happen between Alawat and Bajpayee, two of the strongest personalities in the industry right now, will definitely be interesting.
It is also entertaining to see that the humour that the show is known for, still intact as Srikant and his colleague, JK Talpade, engage in banter, finding themselves behind bars once again.
Powerful monologues, stunning shots from the North East and high-paced action. The trailer for The Family Man season 3 promises all the aspects for which the audience adores the series in the first place. The stakes are higher than ever as Srikant’s personal and professional life collide.
