His statement comes at a time when rumors about his alleged breakup with actress Jannat Zubair have been making headlines. While neither Faisal nor Jannat has publicly addressed the speculation, their social media activity has fueled discussions among fans.
Faisal Shaikh On Personal Struggles
During a recent episode of Celebrity MasterChef, Faisal participated in a high-stakes black apron challenge alongside Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia, and Archana Gautam. While competing for a spot in the finale, Faisal appeared distracted, catching the attention of judges Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna. Concerned about his demeanor, they asked if something was bothering him. Faisal responded candidly, saying, “There are a few things in my life that are quite disturbing. I have been disturbed because of that.” His unexpected revelation left fans wondering if his personal struggles were linked to the ongoing breakup rumors with Jannat Zubair.
Chef Ranveer Brar tried to refocus Faisal’s energy, reminding him that once he steps into the kitchen, he must leave his outside worries behind. Chef Vikas Khanna also pointed out that Faisal seemed unusually unfocused, unlike his usual determined self. Encouraging him to push through, Ranveer advised, “When you are about to reach the finish line, don’t question yourself. Give your best and don’t think about what’s happening outside.” Speculation about Faisal and Jannat’s alleged split intensified when fans noticed that Jannat had unfollowed Faisal on Instagram. Additionally, her mother and brother, Ayaan Zubair, who were previously close to Faisal, also unfollowed him. Around the same time, Jannat shared a cryptic post on her Instagram stories that read, “Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be.” This only fueled suspicions that things had changed between the two.
Although neither Faisal nor Jannat has publicly acknowledged the breakup, their online interactions or lack thereof have left fans convinced that they are no longer on good terms. Faisal and Jannat have been known for their close friendship and frequent collaborations. Their chemistry in music videos and social media content led fans to believe they were more than just friends. Reports suggest that they may have started dating in 2019, but they have consistently denied being in a romantic relationship.
In a past interview with ETimes, Faisal clarified, “We have been friends for years and are very good friends. We have done many projects together and will do many more. People assume things, but there is nothing like that. On-screen chemistry doesn’t always mean there’s something off-screen. Off-screen, we are great friends. I am single.”
