About Sunjay Kapur’s First Wife
Renowned fashion designer Nandita Mahtani was born in 1976 and got married to Sunjay in 1996. They split later in 2000. The designer has styled many A-list celebrities, including Gauri Khan, Katrina Kaif, and even Virat Kohli. Though her marriage to the industrialist was short, Nandita’s romantic relationships have often made headlines. She also dated Karisma Kapoor’s brother Ranbir Kapoor, who reportedly had a crush on her. Her relationship with Dino Morea was also a known one. Despite their breakup in 2016, Mahatani co-owns a company called Playground with him.
The designer was also in a relationship with actor Vidyut Jamwal. He proposed to her by rappelling down a 150-meter-high wall in Agra. They celebrated their engagement with a romantic visit to the Taj Mahal. However, two years after their engagement, they ended their relationship in 2023. Mahtani didn’t have any children with her ex-husband, Sunjay. Reportedly, it is largely due to this that she is currently uninvolved in the Kapur family drama.

But the Sonam Comstar had two children- Samaira Kapur, 20, and Kiaan Kapur, 15, with his second wife, Karisma Kapoor. He also has one son, Azarias Kapur, with his third wife, Priya Sachdev. The industrialist also co-parented Priya’s daughter from her first marriage, Safira Chatwal.
