Talking about the subject of politics and how much Pallavi Joshi’s politics align with her husband’s, The Kashmir Files actress revealed that she and Vivek never discuss politics with each other. “When friends are over, some discussions happen, but between us, as a family, never,” she says. When asked whether her political opinion aligns with her husband’s, Pallavi says, “I don’t have an opinion, because I don’t want to have an opinion.”
Joshi continues by revealing that when she was growing up, politics had played a very important role in her life. Both Pallavi’s maternal grandparents were close to Maharashtra’s first CM, Yashwantrao Balwantrao Chavan, and her grandmother also used to write campaign songs for Congress. “But now people have made politics their lives, and you are constantly judged on which side you belong to,” Pallavi said while explaining her reasoning for not inclining towards politics. She continued by talking about how ideologies have now become too complicated and divided into numerous factions, such as being extreme left, ultra right, and soft right.
Pallavi Joshi then talked about how her husband, Vivek Agnihotri, does have a political ideology, but she does not. “We do fine together,” she said while talking about their dynamic with each other.
