Dealing With Periods On Set
On being asked how they deal with periods on set, actor Ayesha Raza Mishra said, “You protect yourself. You have to make sure, like if I’m wearing this (outfit) on a day like that, then I would have to be doubly, triply careful.”
Fatima Sana Shaikh said, “If I have a period, then I tell my director, ‘Today I have an off day.’ They really take care of you. With Vivek also, one of those days, I was like, It’s too much. So, with so much love, they take care of you. They’re very mindful. So, we have such men also.”
Overall, the actresses meant that there’s no such kit, and all they do is be extra careful during periods. We all agree! Women have to be extra cautious during the entire week or longer.
