And in an exclusive chat with Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist, the actor had some unfiltered conversations about her life and movies. During the chat, Swara took us back to her dating days where she had signed up for a dating up, but her experience was much different from what you might think. Read on to know!
What Swara Bhaskar Said
When asked if she was ever on dating apps, Swara Bhaskar replied, “When dating apps got popular, I had become famoush-ish. But I did create an account on Hinge, and my name was ‘Satya Nash.’ And for the pictures, I had put up a funny meme of PM Modi standing while Jawaharlal Nehru laughing from behind. So, I had many right-wingers showing up on my feed. And there was an option where you could write, ‘Change my mind about one thing’ and I had written ‘change my mind about RSS.’ And then many RSS supporters thought I was one of them, and then I started fighting with them. So one of my American cousins said, ‘So basically, you took X (Previously Twitter) on Hinge. So, yes, that was one disaster of my dating app experience.”
Talking about her life with her husband Ahmad, Bhaskar said, “There have been no problems in my inter-faith marriage, actually it was the best decision of my life. It’s nothing like that fake news that people circulate online. I have learnt one thing in life that a person should be honest and kind, and nothing else matters to me. My realisation of love with Fahad was that I was safe with this person and that he would never hurt me.”
