1. Friendship Between Mother And Daughter

During the chat, Supriya Pathak and Sanah Kapur revealed that they are best friends and that the veteran actress has always provided them a safe space to open up to her. Sanah revealed that her mother was the first person she opened up to about her first boyfriend at 17.

2. Sanah Kapur Reflects on Road Accident

Sanah Kapur reflected on an incident when a bike crashed into her car at 11 at night. She guesses that the other person was probably intoxicated. She recalled the Mumbai police handling the matter and also credited them for making her feel safe.

3. Supriya Pathak Recalls Getting Her First Period

Supriya Pathank recalled that when she was young, there was no proper education provided on periods. She stated, “I was not aware of it at all.” The veteran star shared that people refused to talk about such important things. She added, “When I got my first period, I was absolutely unaware of anything,” adding, “I thought it was a punishment because I had made a mistake.” It was her mother who assured her that getting periods was a normal thing.

4. Their Ancestors Believed In Feminism 

Feminism was something that their ancestors believed in, so they had paved a path for them. The veteran star recalled an incident where her aunt’s marriage was fixed when she was 14-15 years old. Her aunt wanted to study and not get married, but her family was against that. She even met with the boy and asked him to refuse this proposal, but that attempt failed. She then cut her long hair into a boy-cut so that she wouldn’t be able to get married. Further, they also discussed the unconventional yet healthy ways the women in their household lived and worked, which truly reflects the idea of modern feminism.

5. Pankaj Kapur Is Not A Stereotypical Dad

While talking about her father, Sanah Kapur revealed that Pankaj Kapur is not a stereotypical dad but someone who always encouraged them. She added that he never made them feel that they could not do anything; he always asked them to work hard and not to expect things to fall into their lap.
