Sonakshi Sinha Recalls Body-Shaming Comment That Broke Her!
Sonakshi Sinha graced the latest episode of Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist hosted by Siddhaarth Aalambayan. The host asked the actor about any body-shaming comments that had taken a toll on her, and to this, she said, “I remember there was this one time when I really broke down. I came home crying. They didn’t give me a lead role because I was overweight. They said you won’t look good in this role, so you play a stupid small role. I got really offended by that. I went home, my Maasi was there.” Sonakshi also added that she held her aunt and cried a lot. She also revealed that the incident raised a lot of self-doubt in her. She said, “I held my aunt and cried a lot and questioned, why god did this to me, why he made me like this.” However, Sonakshi Sinha said that she felt better the next day by crying it all out.
Sonakshi Sinha also spoke at length about her relationship with her husband Zaheer Iqbal and how they both fell in love. She spoke about her dynamics with her parents and shared a lot of anecdotes from her life.
