The release of Bhuvan Bam and Shriya Pilgaonkar’s web series Taaza Khabar season 2 is just around the corner, and there’s already a lot of buzz among fans. Shriya Pilgaonkar On Dealing With Misogyny
In an exclusive chat with us, Taaza Khabar season 2 star Shriya Pilgaonkar opened up about dealing with misogynists in real life. The actress defined it as a problem that every woman must have faced in her life. When asked if she has ever dealt with a misogynist in life, Shriya said, “Women have done that all the time, all the time at a very subtle level. I think sometimes it happens unconditionally, it happens through little jokes, or it happens through power dynamics. But I think as women you know, but men may not realise it that often.” Actor Deven Bhojani who was also a part of the conversation interrupted Shriya and said, “Don’t say that.”
Shriya Pilgaonkar went on to add, “It’s on a subconscious level that men may not realise. To answer the question, it’s of course, yes, I have but speak out also. If you feel something you say it.”
