“With 8 A.M Metro, it was like a black-out. One big thing I learned was how it made me more sensitive to issues concerning mental health,” began Saiyami. “I came to understand that my struggles were not mine alone and sometimes we have no clue about what others are going through. For instance, at times we meet people such as security guards of our buildings but if they do not perform their duties well, we might respond rudely without knowing what is happening in his life. This movie has taught me always to put myself into other peoples’ shoes before approaching them.” According to Saiyami, “This experience has made me much more sensitive than I thought I would ever be.” Lessons like these are the reason why we should be thankful for movies like this coming out in our lives and further added how every project brings its own set of learnings and experiences just like 8 A.M Metro has taught her to be more sensitive towards mental health, she looks forward to what new projects will bring into her life.
