Saiyami Kher On Facing Stereotypes For Loving Cricket
Sharmajee Ki Beti star Saiyami Kher recently shared her experience of being a woman who loved cricket, and how she was perceived for that initially. In an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly, Saiyami Kher said, “I have been very passionate about cricket ever since I was a child. When I was in college and there was a guy who used to hit on me, I asked him to play cricket and he thought I was joking. I don’t want to sound boastful but I genuinely love the game, but the minute I speak about cricket where there are usually men and guys, and I have some opinion on cricket, their first impression is like what do you know, you are a girl. So I used to get that a lot initially, but now people have got used to my love and obsession for the game.”
