Jiya Shankar who is known for movies and shows like Ved, Pishachani and more shared a story that begins with a disturbing incident that took place when she was in the 10th grade, on the eve of her board exams. She remembers saying, “I wasn’t feeling well, and the board exams were scheduled for tomorrow, so I visited my family doctor. That’s when he behaved inappropriately towards me.” During the conversation, Jiya opened up about the emotions she experienced during that troubling moment. She shared, “I was very angry and extremely disturbed. I didn’t understand what was happening, but I couldn’t shake off the feeling of anger.” She said she felt this way because he has never done something like this before and I have been coming here since I was a child.

She said, “He’s known me since I was a kid.” He’s been seeing me grow up. But just because he found out that my parents had divorced and there was no male figure to protect me, he thought he could do whatever he wanted.” And that’s exactly what he did, but when later on her mother found out, she just broke down.
