During the chat, Tina Ahuja was asked how she felt about Govinda often being a missing father. To this, she replied, “Of course, growing up, half of the time my dad was only shooting. He hardly used to come to my school also, mom used to be a regular. He used to come once or twice for my annual function when I was performing.”

She continued, “My dad has always pampered me with materialistic things. He feels that is the only way he can win his daughter but it’s of course not like that. He used to shoot with David uncle during May-June when our schools had holidays, even Hero No. 1 was shot then.”

Talking about the time of their daughter’s birth, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja said, “When I was about to deliver our daughter Tina, he was doing five shifts a day and was coming in checking in between each shoot. And as soon as our kids were born, I needed him less because I used to love kids. ”

She continued, “I used to dedicate my entire time to kids. I never let nannies raise my kids because I believe in that. Even though my mother-in-law had kept 2 nannies, I never believed they were hygienic, so I raised them on my own. My time used to go by very fast and I hardly noticed him coming and going from his shoots.”
