Barkha Singh On Casting Couch
During the exclusive interview, Barkha Singh talked about a shocking incident. She said someone sent her an email. This email had very specific and inappropriate demands. She recalled the email saying, “I think it was something for the south, and they were like, ‘These many shoot days required, and the vitals should be at least 36; compromise is required.'” This happened within this decade, so it’s not a very old story.
She found this act truly disgusting. The actress found it hard to believe someone would write such demands. The idea of someone being “so okay with it” was disturbing to her. The word “compromise” was also used, and it was not clear who this compromise was with. “It was a middleman,” added Barkha Singh.

Moreover, the actress added, “Yeah, so like this is what has happened, but no one has said it in the face. But I think I also because I know this exists, and I’m very wary of it. So, like, I try very hard to not get only in those situations.” This is so sad and makes us furious!
