Imtiaz Ali is all set to roll cameras on his next romantic drama, starring Avinash Tiwary and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film, which is expected to be a deeply intense love story, will go on floors in Mumbai on February 25, 2025. This marks another exciting collaboration between Imtiaz and Avinash, who previously worked together in Laila Majnu (2018).
Aditi Rao Hydari, Avinash Tiwary To Shoot For Imtiaz Ali’s Next
A source revealed to Hauterrfly: “Avinash Tiwary and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer Imtiaz Ali film is all set to go on floor on Feb 25. The shoot will begin in Mumbai on 25. The film is a love story” Sources close to the project confirm that the film will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule, wrapping up by the summer of 2025. While further details about the storyline remain under wraps, fans can expect Imtiaz’s signature storytelling, blending deep emotions, compelling characters, and soul-stirring music.
Interestingly, this film is just one of three projects that Imtiaz has lined up. After completing this love story, he will shift focus to a period romance centered around three couples. Following that, he will get into a romantic comedy starring Fahadh Faasil and Triptii Dimri, tentatively titled Idiots of Istanbul.
This marks an unusually prolific phase for the filmmaker, who has spent the past year developing multiple scripts. Known for taking his time with projects, Imtiaz is now set to bring three distinct love stories to the audience in quick succession. On the other hand, Avinash Tiwari was recently seen in Mehta Boys along with Boman Irani and Aditi Rao Hydari stole the hearts of the audience in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s OTT series Heeramandi.
