Ananya Panday, Ishita Moitra On Journalist Faye D’Souza
Faye D’Souza has changed the face of journalism by using social media as a powerful tool to deliver everyday news. We were intrigued to know more from Ananya Panday and Ishita Moitra if Faye was an inspiration behind the lead character Bella. To this Ishita Moitra said, “She was an inspiration and she is also a journalist in the new media. We are also talking about traditional media vs new media. While she was in television media as well, the kind of journalism that she did we all looked up to it. So it was just great to have her in that episode as well playing herself.”
Ananya Panday added, “She just threw me off with her acting skills. I am honestly a big fan of Faye. I think I was star-struck when I saw her for the first time. She was so natural, knew her lines and she always made eye contact.”
The cast of Call Me Bae unanimously agreed that Faye D’Souza is a superb actor.
