Akanksha Choudhary On Entering Splitsvilla 16
During the exclusive chat, Akanksha Choudhary opened up about facing failure for 4 years during the initial phase and losing faith in becoming something. She said, “3 days after I went back to Jaipur, I got selected for Miss Universe, so I went to stay with a friend whose house I always go to when I am in Delhi. And when I was giving the audition for it, she told me that I was not at all suitable for pageants and that I should instead take part in reality shows because I have a personality which is relatable and I am also often funny whenever I talk. She often wished for someone to record these conversations and put them on YouTube because they were so funny. She only recommended me going to Splitsvilla, saying that it was very famous and that a lot of people watched it.
Because she was such an avid watcher, she told me to participate in it multiple times and said that the craze for the reality show was something else. But I always hesitated since I never watched or even liked Splitsvilla. I had never imagined being on it, but since I listened to my friend, it happened, and the funny thing is that she had been forcing me to participate for 2 years. The only reason that I listened to her this time was that I couldn’t crack Miss Universe and I was not even in the top 20. I felt unseen there, knowing that I would never be the one to win this.”
