The sudden intrusion into Saif Ali Khan’s Mumbai house shocked everyone and raised concerns for the security of celebrities. And in an exclusive conversation with Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist, hosted by Siddhaarth Aalambayan, Soha Ali Khan revealed that her house was also intruded upon by someone. She recalled her husband, Kunal Khemu, protecting her. Here’s all she said about the incident.
What Soha Ali Khan Said
During the exclusive chat, Soha Ali Khan said, “In Mumbai, our house was broken into. Not my brother’s (Saif Ali Khan’s) but mine. Kunal (Khemu) caught the thief and took him to jail. It was 4 in the morning, and we were sleeping. He came into our bedroom. Kunal had a cast on his hand because he had hurt his finger while shooting for Go, Goa, Gone. We both heard a sound, but thought that it must be something else. But because Kunal was very attentive, he got up and started looking around.
And as soon as he opened the curtain, a man with a handkerchief in his hand was standing there. So, Kunal kicked him and both of them fell onto the balcony. And I was inside and called the police immediately. Then my husband came in and said, ‘I think he’s dead’ because that thief had fallen off the balcony. Of course, he was not dead, but he hurt his back, and then the police came.”
Talking about an unsafe incident, Soha Ali Khan recalled, “I got flashed in Italy, and apparently, that happens very often. It happened in broad daylight, too. Of course, I know that my life is privileged and I am protected, but I understand some people face such things very often.”
