Aamir Ali Opens Up About Harassment

Aamir Ali recently graced Hauterrfly’s show On A Date With hosted by Janvi Manchanda and the two exchanged some pleasant conversations. When the host spoke about men having reservations towards gay men, Aamir Ali agreed to be one of them. He said, “I had reservations too. I had because when I was young, I used to travel by train. The reason I stopped travelling by train was that I was 14, and I was being touched. I started carrying the bag around by bum and one day, someone took out the books from my bag. And I was like who takes books? I stopped travelling by train and therefore had some reservations too. ”

Aamir Ali added, “There were a couple of friends who came out in the open and said that they had feelings for men. I knew them so well, they are like my brothers and I could share a bed with them too. Then I realised, that just because I had 2-3 bad experiences, I can judge all of them like that. So when you mature, you understand and your thoughts change.”
