Did you wake up today thinking that you might come across news that Pakistan’s former Prime Minister and cricketer, Imran Khan and actress Rekha almost got married in the 1980s? We didn’t expect that either. As per reports, there was a time in the 80s when the link-up rumours about the duo dominated headlines. Read on to know more about the same.
Imran Khan And Rekha Almost Got Married
In the past Imran Khan, the ex-prime minister and actress Rekha were spotted together on various occasions. As a result this made them the talk of the town. A 1985 report claimed that they were in love and were going to get married soon. Additionally it was also alleged that the actress’s mother, Pushpavalli, was happy about their relationship and thought he was the most eligible bachelor for her. She went a step ahead and visited an astrologer to consult about their marriage. Even today, it’s not known what the astrologer exactly said.
But despite everything, Imran Khan and Rekha never got married. Neither of the parties involved openly spoke about the reason for the same. Apart from Rekha, the former cricketer was also linked with other actresses including Shabana Azmi and Zeenat Aman.
