Almost a week ago, Japanese model Harada Rin, also known as Harin, came forward to reveal that she was a trainee under Min Hee Jin. She claimed that she was preparing to debut in NewJeans before her name was cut from the lineup just before the debut was officially announced. She received a lot of backlash from NewJeans fans as they claimed she was lying and just wanted attention. However, Harin has now presented concrete evidence that supports her statements. On August 19, Harin uploaded a video showing her official trainee contract with ADOR, signed on January 7, 2022. The trainee contract not only included her own signature but also that of her parents and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin’s official seal. Harin revealed that although the contract was supposed to last for a year, her training period was cut short after only two months.
Harin’s contract reveal quickly silenced many who had doubted her earlier claims. In a previous interview, Harin had already shared that she was dropped from ADOR shortly before NewJeans made their now iconic debut. However, the way the controversy unfolded has left many questioning the behavior of NewJeans’ fans. Netizens condemned those who forced Harin to reveal such private documents just to validate her experience.

Born in 2003, Harin first entered the entertainment world as a member of Japanese idol group Shibu3 Project. She later passed auditions for HYBE’s subsidiary Source Music in 2020, joining N-Team trainees. However, after Min Hee Jin established ADOR, she handpicked a few trainees who would eventually debut as NewJeans.
In her recent interview, Harin confessed that after her sudden dismissal, she had abandoned her dream of becoming an idol. Instead, she now focuses on modeling and pursuing new career paths.
