Fans are excited about the upcoming release of Emraan Hashmi’s movie Awarapan 2. The film also stars Disha Patani as the lead female star and veteran actor Shabana Azmi, in what looks like a villainous role. The film is going to release as per the schedule. The much-awaited film of Emraan Hashmi brings the actor back in one of his most-loved roles as Shivam Pandit. The trailer has finally dropped, and the actor promises us his best, yet again. The film will be a mix of many emotions, action, and drama. Shabana Azmi’s role as an antagonist looks quite intriguing; however, we do wish to know about Disha Patani’s character because the trailer only gives us a glimpse. The film is all set to release on August 14, and fans are expecting to be surprised by it and Emraan Hashmi’s performance. So fingers crossed.
CBFC Gives U/A 16+ Rating
The Central Board of Film Certification has given Awarapan 2 a U/A 16+ rating. However, it has still asked for some cuts in the film, which include violent scenes. According to a Hindustan Times report, CBFC has asked to cut a long violent scene in the second half to almost half, and three such violent scenes will also be cut. Some rough and offensive words are asked to be removed in audio and subtitling both, and a scene showing drug abuse has also been asked to be cut out. Overall, 4 minutes of deletions and 20 seconds of replacement cuts have been suggested by the CBFC, and the run time of the film now is 2 hours, 20 minutes, and 20 seconds

Awarapan 2 is the sequel to the 2007 film, which instantly got itself a cult following. The latest run in the franchise is directed by Nitin Kakkar.
