‘Game of Thrones’ Actor Emilia Clarke Says She’s Missing Some Parts Of Brain After Surviving Two Brain Aneurysms

It’s a no-brainer that everyone in their life has experienced some serious health issues and we know how difficult it is to deal with it. But sharing the experience with people is even harder because it feels like you are dealing with it once again. However, the Game of Thrones star, Emilia Clarke recently talked about her experience of surviving two brain aneurysms and how the HBO series gave her a purpose during that difficult phase of her life. 

Emilia Clarke aka Daenerys Targaryen of Game of Thrones opened up about her experience surviving two brain aneurysms and expressed gratitude that she has been able to recover after losing some parts of her brain. The Me Before You actress said that it was the most excruciating pain but the hit HBO series gave her a purpose. She mentioned that she is now completely better. For the unversed, she suffered two life-threatening brain aneurysms while working on the hit series – Game of Thrones, the first in the year 2011 and the second in 2013.

Emilia Clarke added that it’s remarkable that she can speak and live her life completely normally with no repercussions. Clarke also recalled the time when she saw scans of her brain and realised “there’s quite a bit missing,” and said that it always makes her laugh.
