Popular YouTuber and reality show champion Elvish Yadav opened up following a horrific firing incident near his home in Gurugram. Given his strong fan base and constant presence in the news, Yadav became the subject of a security alert on August 17, 2025, when suspected gunmen opened fire at his residence in Sector 57.

As per police reports, the assault occurred early morning, between 5:30 and 6 am, when three masked men came close to the property and opened fire a number of rounds before leaving the premises. Over a dozen bullets were fired, leaving a mark on the house, but no one was injured. Police have filed a case and begun an investigation to find out who was involved.
Elvish, who was out at the time of the incident, released a brief statement on Instagram afterward to reassure his fans. He thanked his fans for their concern and explained that he and his family were both safe. “I am thankful for all the prayers and wishes. My family and I are safe,” he posted, keeping his message concise but reassuring.
Soon after the news emerged, an allegedly online post by the Himanshu Bhau gang appeared online, where the group took responsibility for the firing. They blamed the YouTuber for promoting gambling activities. Though the genuineness of this post cannot be confirmed, police are taking the claim seriously. Gurugram Police PRO Sandeep Kumar confirmed that three men in possession of weapons were involved and reiterated that the case is under active investigation.
Elvish Yadav’s Father Reveals His Worries
In an interview with the media, Yadav’s father stated that he was glad that no member of the family was injured but conceded the experience was scary. He stated that the family never received any personal threats before the attack but added that the attack might have gone wrong had anyone been outside at the time.
The probe is underway, and the police are trying to identify the shooters. Meanwhile, fans on social media have come out in Yadav’s support, calling on the authorities to keep him safe.
