Elvish Yadav Claims To Be The “Biggest Feminist” On MTV Roadies. Let’s Burst That Bubble For Him!

If you are following the latest season of MTV Roadies, you must be aware of the controversy that happened among the judges- Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia and Elvish Yadav. Neha immediately hit back at Narula’s demeaning comment against a senior contestant, Ashu Ji. Elvish Yadav did that too and also declared himself the biggest feminist in the room. Well, while we appreciate him voicing his opinion against an ageist remark, we are still not convinced about him being a feminist. Here’s why!

What Did Elvish Yadav Say

Elvish Yadav criticised Prince Narula’s comment about a senior contestant on MTV’s Roadies. He said that, as per Narula, the contestant had reached her retirement age. Elvish Yadav went on to call himself the biggest feminist present in the room. It’s honestly hard to believe that because there have been various instances where Elvish Yadav has emerged as the not-so-feminist man! Some even showed his insensitivity while dealing with a woman. The latest incident has to be his racist remarks against actress and Bigg Boss contestant Chum Darang. Elvish Yadav was even summoned by the National  Commission of Women (NCW) in this regard.

Elvish Yadav has never defended misogynist comments on his podcast, and a very evident example was Rajat Dalal’s remark about Eisha Singh. During the podcast, the two discussed how some men marry women because they are perfect to become maids. This statement was hinted towards Eisha Singh, and only screams the misogynist mindset of Elvish and Rajat Dalal.

In 2023, Elvish Yadav was also bashed for calling Arjun Bijlani “a woman”. This statement is a reflection of the mindset that he looks down upon women or believes that they lack something in comparison to men.

Elvish Yadav did not think twice before bullying Kusha Kapila on his roast show and labelling her as “sasti Kareena Kapoor”. Well, that doesn’t even mean anything, but some men do think of women as soft targets.

Elvish Yadav is a popular content creator and has a crazy fan following. He can use his voice, fame and reach to send a strong message on feminism and how men can become feminist allies. Elvish can use the medium in various ways to educate young minds about creating an equal world for everyone, especially if he claims to be the biggest feminist. But as of now, we are not convinced!
