Drishyam 2 director Abhishek Pathak and his wife Shivaleeka Oberoi took to Instagram to share the news that they are expecting their first child. The couple posted Christmas-themed pictures to announce the happy news two years after their marriage. Abhishek and Shivaleeka got married in February 2023 in Goa. The couple took to Instagram on 19th December to announce the happy news with a joint post. In the Christmas-themed pictures, Shivaleeka Oberoi is seen holding a tiny pair of socks while Abishek Patak embraces her, wearing a black shirt. A Christmas tree is also visible in the backdrop. Another picture included a Christmas ornament that they are holding with the words “Baby Pathak Arriving 2026” written on it. The to-be-parents captioned the post with, “A tiny blessing is joining our universe.”

Abishek Pathak is a popular film director, known for his work in Drishyam 2, Ujda Chaman and more. He has also served as a producer in films like Drishyam, Raid, and Pyaar Ka Panchnama. Shivaleeka Oberoi is an actress who has starred in Khuda Hafiz and Yeh Saali Aashiqui. She was last seen in Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha in 2022, reprising her role as Nargis in the sequel. The couple got married on February 9th 2023, in a destination wedding in Goa. The wedding was an intimate affair, attended only by family and close friends.
