Do Patti Star Kajol Calls Herself Asli Singham, Reveals She Didn’t Take Any Tips From Husband Ajay Devgn!

Bollywood star Kajol is all geared up for her upcoming release called Do Patti alongside Kriti Sanon. The actor is all set to play a cop just like her husband Ajay Devgan who is best known for his role as Bajirao Singham. At the trailer launch of Do Patti, Kajol was seen in a fun mood when she was asked if she had taken any inspiration from Devgan, to which she replied that she is the real Singham!

Kajol Says She Is The Real Singham

At the trailer launch of Do Patti, Kajol said, “Dekhiye yeh maine phle bhi kaha hai har stage pe kaha hai ki asli singham (main hoon)”  She clarified that she has indeed not taken any tips from her husband Ajay Devgan. The actor also revealed her experience of donning a police costume. She said that there is a certain stature that comes when you play a cop on screen. She said that even when one is giving a shot, they know that they are not a cop, but just an actor. She concluded by saying that she enjoyed the process of being a cop very much.

Kajol looked stunning at the premiere, sporting an all-red dress from head to toe. Her costume had unique shoulder embellishments and a cape. The actor kept her outfit basic and let the vibrant colour draw all the focus. Her hair was likewise fashioned in a simple side-parted look.

Meanwhile, the trailer of Do Patti features Kajol trying to untangle the mystery of twins and their love story with one man, played by Shaheer. The story of the film is set in the backdrop of a hill station. This is Kriti Sanon’s maiden production, under her home banner, Blue Butterfly Pictures. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, it is slated to release online on October 25.
