Do Patti Date Announcement Video: Kriti Sanon’s Double Role And Kajol’s Hilarious Cop Banter Has Us Seated!

After their iconic duo as siblings in Dilwale, Kriti Sanon and Kajol are back, and this time, as a not-so-friendly duo in the upcoming film Do Patti. Produced by Kriti Sanon, directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Kanika Dhillon, this much-anticipated film finally has a release date and we are freaking out! The date announcement video of this thriller looked promising and tells us that Kajol will have to deal with not one, but two Kriti Sanon, one being her alter ego (We guess?)  on October 25!

Do Patti‘s Date Announcement

On Monday, September 30, Netflix announced the release date for Kriti Sanon, Kajol, and Shaheer Sheikh, along with Tanvi Azmi. The video starts with Kajol talking on the phone with someone while entering a cafe and seeing Kriti Sanon reading a book there. The actor then goes towards Sanon and shows her a gun asking her to sit down. Kajol plays a cop who looked hilarious in the video. A joke about paparazzi standing outside the salon while Kriti Sanon came out had us laughing our hearts out.

But the highlight of the date announcement video was the revelation that there would not be one, but a double role of Kriti Sanon. The two Kritis will be very different from each other. While one was seen to be nerdy, the other one looked like a don and a complete badass. Sanon revealed in an earlier interview that this was one of the most challenging roles in her career and that it had a lot of layers and character graphs in it. We cannot wait for this film to go out on October 25! You know the film is going to be fun when the video ends with Kajol saying, “Shut the front door” AKA STFU!
