Actor Divya Khossla Kumar has intensified the ongoing discussion about the similarities between Jigra featuring Alia Bhatt and Vedan Raina and Savi featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor. Divya Khossla Kumar Attacks Alia Bhatt

On Saturday, October 11, Bhushan Kumar’s wife Divya Khossla Kumar took to her Instagram and posted a story of an empty PVR theatre and wrote, “Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. The theatre was totally empty … all theatres going empty everywhere. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Wonder why paid media is silent. #weshdnotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra”

The controversy deepened when Kumar’s team accused Alia Bhatt of copying her film Savi’s storyline. This is not the first time Divya Khossla has mentioned the obvious parallels between Savi and Jigra. Earlier, she addressed the topic, stating that while both films feature identical themes, notably the jailbreak element, she is confident in her film’s distinctiveness and success. Savi, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor, is about a housewife’s effort to break her husband out of a high-security prison, inspired by the mythological story of Savitri and Satyavan.

Despite the similarities, Divya stated that each film follows its path and journey. However, her recent Instagram post suggests persistent animosity, with Divya Khossla displeased with Jigra’s portrayal in the media.
