In recent events, Bollywood actor Disha Patani has been heavily compared to the famous K-pop group BLACKPINK, featuring Lisa, Rosé, Jennie, and Jisoo. The former has been receiving a lot of praise online for outperforming the girl group. The Korean girl group was recently seen on their tour DEADLINE, where members were heavily criticised for not putting in any effort and serving the bare minimum to their fans who had paid large sums to see them.

Others also pointed out that though Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo could not keep their presence on the stage, Patani did a much better job dancing to their song. This comes after BLACKPINK’s most recent tour ended on January 26, with videos of empty seats and lacklustre crowd reactions going viral. One user commented, “She definitely danced better than Jennie,” while another said, “She did way better than bp.”
While this discussion went on, many fans also came to the group’s defence saying, “I am not a big BP fan but this ain’t it fam,” and others also mentioned how comparing a solo dance performance to a big group’s scale was not fair. This comes after the internet thought that they were disbanding after several videos of them hugging and crying during their Hong Kong show went viral, where everyone worried they might part ways since their group contract with YG Entertainment ends in 2026.
