Shazia Iqbal, who directed Dhadak 2 recently came under netizens’ radar for seemingly sharing her candid opinion about Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar. Although she did not name the film directly, many think that the review Shazia shared online was about the Aditya Dhar directorial project. After facing social media users’ backlash, Shazia made her Instagram private. Read on to know more about the same.

What Did Shazia Iqbad Say About Dhurandhar?

Director Shazia Iqbal took to her Instagram and shared a story stating, “What a sinister” movie. She added that it was not unintentional or hidden– inciting hate and violence is in the DNA of that project. Further, Shazia wrote “but it’s a ‘well made’ film guys” with some cool background music. She then sarcastically expressed being glad that most people don’t care about minorities enough to even hide their blatant apathy. The director added that FA9LA song by Flipperachi, which is a part of the Dhurandhar film. Soon Ranveer Singh starrer film’s fans expressed their wrath over the same. Shazia faced multiple brutal and accusatory comments on social media that seemingly led her to turn her Instagram private.

Ever since Dhurandhar released, the film has sparked multiple discussions online. People who have expressed not liking the movie have faced brutal backlash from netizens.
