Famous star Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 has been dominating the box office ever since its release on March 19. And as the audience enjoys it in the cinema, many celebrities online are also congratulating the makers for this record-breaking project. Amid this, Ranveer and Aditya Dhar have also garnered praises from Kalki 2898 AD director, Nag Ashwin. This wish turned heads because just a few months back, he was under a massive controversy after Deepika Padukone walked out of the film.

Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin took to his Instagram story expressing his views on Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2. He wrote, congratulated the team for becoming India’s biggest grosser and wrote, “The genius of @adityadharfilms really shines in the beginning and ending of #dhurandhar2… Beyond all the action and explosions…it’s the mother’s hug or the longing for that hug….that hit hardest…” Ashwin ruled the box office in 2024 with his film featuring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.

He praised Ranveer, saying, “@ranveersingh A always disappears into his roles…always raising the bar…” Congratulations to the team on being India’s biggest-grossing film. The internet further praised Nag Ashwin for showering love on Singh despite his previous scandal with his wife, Deepika Padukone, after she exited Kalki 2898 AD as the makers were allegedly unable to find a partnership for a film that deserved commitment. After they released a statement online, Padukone spoke about how male actors in the industry have been working for 8-hours for years, while her demand made national headlines.
