Her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim recently shared the bad news that she has developed a cyst in her stomach and will be hospitalised for another surgery. In their latest YouTube vlog, the duo were seen attending a birthday party, but the same night, her health suddenly took a turn for the worse. Read to know more about it here.

Talking about the matter, Shoaib Ibrahim said, “Everything was fine till yesterday. Dipika had mild pain in her stomach for two days, which aggravated more on Friday night. So, we visited the doctor, they got a CT scan done, and we learned that Dipika has gotten another cyst of 13mm (1.3 cm).” Kakar said that along with the stomach pain, she was also suffering from shoulder pain, which alarmed them. But they later got to know that the two pains were not connected.
Ibrahim said that the actress might need to undergo surgery next week. The cyst was scaring for them since the last time doctors informed them that poorly differentiated and aggressive tumours have a chance of recurrence. There will be no major surgery; instead, the cyst will be removed through a burning procedure. She is expected to be hospitalised for three to four days, with the procedure scheduled for Tuesday. The family expressed relief at having detected it early. Coincidentally, the day also marks eight years since their sangeet ceremony.
