In an interview with Zoom, Boney Kapoor praised Diljit for his accomplishments. He said that he was proud of him and proud of what he had done and was doing. Next, he mentioned that he wanted to cast Diljit in a film they were planning about six or seven years ago, before Priyanka moved to the U.S. and before she starred in Quantico. He added that Priyanka had really liked the idea of the film they were working on.
Boney Kapoor shared that they waited for Priyanka Chopra for a long time, for about a year to two years. He recalled that when he spoke to her, she told him she had the script beside her and thought about it every night, imagining herself in the role. They wanted Diljit to play her husband in that film, and they had already met him and informed him about the role. Boney mentioned that their connection goes back that far. Now, he sees a great opportunity for Diljit to be part of No Entry Part 2.

Moreover, Boney Kapoor also confirmed that No Entry 2, which is the sequel to the popular 2005 film, will include Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor.
