Khalistani Group Threatens Diljit Dosanjh
Diljit Dosanjh released some record-breaking tracks recently, and his fans, as always, loved it; some, maybe not so much. He has also featured in of the Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 episodes during which, Diljit touched Amitabh Bachchan’s feet and they shared a sweet hug. However, this did not sit well with the Pro-Khalistani group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) and they threatened the singer for this gesture. As per the statement, the group considers Amitabh Bachchan as the man who “fuelled the 1984 genocide” of the sikhs, and by touching his feet, Diljit Dosanjh has disrespected their memories.
In the statement given by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the group has threatened to disrupt Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Australia that is scheduled to take place on November 1. As per the Khalistani leader, this day is observed as the Day Of Remembrance by the Akal Takht Sahib. He further added that there were so many kids, women and men burnt alive in the genocide, and none could perform on the particular day, as per an India Today report. As per the reports, the group plans to hold a shutdown rally outside the venue on the same day, and has sought an explanation from the singer.
