Diljit Dosanjh Not Out Of Border 2
Diljit Dosanjh took to Instagram and released a video of himself preparing for the part, captioned “Border 2“. It quickly went viral, with fans expressing their excitement in the comments area. One of the admirers said, “Punjabi aa gye oye.” Many people dropped heart emoticons. After that, both parties didn’t address the issue publicly, with silence from the production team of Nidhi Dutta and Bhushan Kumar, too. This silence only intensified the public’s curiosity. The FWICE also wrote to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah to withdraw Border 2‘s permission to film at the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA).
Reportedly, after the growing criticism, the film’s production team is reportedly preparing an official statement to address the growing controversy regarding the Punjabi singer’s presence in the film. Singers Mika Singh and Guru Randhawa also opposed the casting of Hania Aamir.
