Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha kept her relationship with longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal under wraps until her wedding day. Many rumours were swirling around their relationship, but neither party confirmed it until the D day. During the show, Twinkle Khanna, the show’s host, told Sonakshi Sinha that she has always been open about her relationships and even ‘blurted out’ I love you to Zaheer Iqbal within a week of meeting him. The actress revealed that the reason behind keeping her relationships private was because of the evil eye. She didn’t want everyone to know until she was sure that she was going to marry someone, which eventually happened with Zaheer.
The Dabangg actress said that she and her husband had an instant connection. She just knew that she was going to spend the rest of her life with this guy, and she made sure to tell him within a week. She said, “So I told him I love you within a week, and he thought I was crazy. He called up his best friend and said, ‘Listen. I think she’s confused, she’s nuts!’” She said that she wanted to marry Iqbal within a month of meeting him. And seven years later, they did get married.

Sonakshi married Zaheer on June 23, last year, in front of their loved ones at their home in Mumbai. The wedding was intimate. The wedding was followed by a gala at Bastian in Mumbai, where many Bollywood celebs were in attendance.
