Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s family went through a tough time when Aryan Khan was in jail due to a drugs-on-cruise case. While the actor was seen continuously fighting for his son’s freedom, some emotional details about his struggles have now been revealed. As per reports, Khan convinced former attorney general, senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi. The actor even offered him a private jet to bring him down to Mumbai from England.
Shah Rukh Khan On Aryan Khan’s Drug Case
During a chat with Republic TV, former Attorney General and senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi shed light on Aryan Khan’s infamous drug case. He opened up about how Shah Rukh Khan convinced him to take the case. He said that though it was a regular bail case, it garnered everyone’s attention as it involved an ‘important personality.’ “I was in the UK on a holiday. And those were COVID times. I got a call from somebody close to Mr Khan that he wants you to argue that case in the Bombay High Court,” said the lawyer.
While Advocate Rohatgi refused to break his holiday and fight the case, Khan personally called him up. And when he refused, the actor cheekily asked to speak to his wife. Mukul stated that Shah Rukh spoke with his wife and asked her not to view the issue as a client, stating, “I’m a father”. The lawyer revealed that Shah Rukh was experiencing all of these feelings before his wife persuaded him to pursue the Aryan Khan case.

Mukul shared that SRK had a huge role in fighting the case. After refusing the private jet offered to him, the lawyer revealed that SRK also checked into the same hotel, the Trident at Nariman Point, to stay connected to the case. He also made many points apart from the lawyers, and then the bail was granted.
