Bollywood star Kiara Advani recently became a mom to a baby girl named Saraayah with her husband, Sidharth Malhotra. Since then, she has been taking some time off to spend with her daughter. And during a recent chat, the actress revealed how she had worked through seven months of her pregnancy and that only her director and producer knew about it. Read to know more about it here.

Kiara Advani About Her Pregnancy

During a conversation with Vogue India, Kiara Advani said that after shooting emotional scenes, she would go to her vanity van and reassure her baby that everything was alright. She would caress her belly and say, “Mama is only acting, okay? This isn’t real.” She said that she was thoroughly enjoying motherhood and that whenever she bathed her baby girl, she would notice everything about her, including her tiny fingers, her eyelashes, and even her giggles.

The duo announced the name of their baby girl on November 28, 2025, by sharing a joint post on Instagram. They shared a picture of themselves holding their baby girl’s feet. In the caption, they wrote, “From our prayers, to our arms🙏🏻 our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra सरायाह मल्होत्रा.” According to the performers’ team, the name is derived from the Hebrew terms Sarah and Saraya, which means ‘God’s princess.’ Saraayah was born on July 15 this year. Sidharth Malhotra last appeared in Param Sundari, a romantic comedy starring Janhvi Kapoor. The film received mixed reviews and did pretty well at the box office. He is now working on a horror film with Tamannaah Bhatia. Kiara’s most recent film, the YRF spy thriller War 2, stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR and will next be seen with Yash in Toxic.
