Park Bo Gum is once again stealing hearts, and this time it’s with his honest performance in the recently released K-drama When Life Gives You Tangerines. Starring alongside the beloved IU, the drama has quickly garnered immense love from viewers worldwide. However, Park Bo Gum’s charm isn’t limited to just on screen. He’s also making waves for his genuine kindness after he took the blame for a staff member’s mistake. How did this happen, and why is it winning him even more fans? Read on to know!
According to Koreaboo, during the busy filming schedule of the drama, a member of the art team mistakenly left their iPad near the clay jar where Park Bo Gum’s character, Gwan Sik, was seated. The scene was even approved without anyone noticing the misplaced device. However, the actor spotted the iPad. Instead of pointing out the staff member’s error, he approached the director with a thoughtful request. He stated that his acting in the scene felt a little awkward and asked if he could review the monitoring video.
This led the crew to re-examine the footage and discover the misplaced iPad without anyone being directly blamed. Afterwards, Park Bo Gum discreetly returned the iPad to the staff member. He offered a reassuring wink and told them not to worry about being caught. This act of consideration deeply touched the art team, with the staff member who shared the story admitting that they and two other colleagues were completely won over by his thoughtfulness. How sweet!
