Alia Bhatt recently promoted her upcoming film Jigra in Hyderabad, where she was joined by co-star Vedang Raina and industry icons Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Rana Daggubati, and director Trivikram Srinivas. During the event, Alia delighted fans by sharing a charming story about her almost two-year-old daughter, Raha. According to the actress, Raha is a huge fan of the viral song Naatu Naatu from the blockbuster RRR.

Alia revealed that Raha enjoys dancing to the Oscar-winning track at home and even requests it daily. Alia playfully described how her daughter loves to watch her dance a clip of an award show performance. Raha often asks Alia to show her the video, enthusiastically recreating the dance moves in her way. Though she might not know the exact steps, Raha’s playful attempts bring joy to the actress and her family.
The event also allowed Alia to express her appreciation for the Telugu audience. She credited them for their deep admiration of quality cinema and their overwhelming support for her previous films like Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra, which both had successful Telugu releases. She acknowledged the importance of connecting with audiences across languages, showing her gratitude for the love she has received in the Telugu film industry.
As for Jigra, Alia’s latest project is directed by Vasan Bala and marks her collaboration with Vedang Raina. The action thriller follows the story of a determined young woman embarking on a mission to rescue her brother from prison. The film, produced under the banners of Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions, is set to release on October 11.
