In a recent turn of events, Bigg Boss 15 star Rajiv Adatia has called out famous content creator Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, for allegedly mocking legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and Falguni Pathak in a video. This all began when the creator, during Falguni Pathak’s, who referred to her as “Falguni peacock singing on stage,” and called the legendary singer “Lata Mangeshkar,” saying that she was the queen of ‘garba.’ Read to know more about the controversy here!

Bigg Boss 15 star Rajiv Adaita took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “This is not funny. It’s disrespectful. Lata ji was like family to me. She treated me like her own son.” He further emphasised that Lata Mangeshkar was a Bharat Ratna awardee and the pride of India. She was also the first Indian singer to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London, among many other artists. Adita called Orry’s comments ‘offensive’ and ‘ignorant.’

Rajiv criticised Orry’s remarks, calling them offensive and ignorant, and urged people to educate the younger generation about India’s cultural icons. He added that while humour is acceptable, it should not cross into disrespect. In his post, Rajiv also apologised to Falguni Pathak, expressing admiration for her and regret over others’ immature behaviour. Fans also supported the Bigg Boss star over this.
